Not been in a Roadster but I’m not the smallest or lightest of people and fit fine in my Sportster. If you’re anywhere near Basingstoke area you’re welcome to have a look.

The differential has been sqeaking and nods up and down under load so it was time to get some new bushes.

Both sets of bushes are from https://www.powerflex.co.uk/ – the main rear diff bush is...
  3. Engine/gearbox mounts, ball joints and alternator

Recently the alternator hit the chassis when I changed direction, a good indication that the engine and gearbox mounts might need some attention. Unfortunately the alternator bearings were damaged...

    Re: M52TU Alterantives

I've used an 'EWS Emulator' on a non TU M52 to sort an EWS issue where the units was out of sync. I need to look up exactly what it was but it was similar to this:...

    Re: M52TU Alterantives

There still an ODB port on the loom? Could try plugging in some diag tools see if the DME has thrown any codes. I've used INPA and Carsoft on E36's.

    Re: M52TU Alterantives

Has EWS been disabled? If not they can go out of sync / bad and cause a no start. There are ways around it.

    Re: Clutch slave cylinder

Best place for BMW part numbers is: https://www.realoem.com/ - this is an online version of BMW parts catalogue. For E36 you need to select the 'Classic' catalogue.

    A 1994 E36 325i manual:...

  17. Re: Tyre width preferences for 15" rims on a Ford based Sportster

Mines a BMW E30 based Sportster but as I understand there's some shared stuff on that one, its a 2005.
