    Re: Waterproofing bonnet piano hinge

I have looked into this a few times both for Roadster and Cabrio but couldn't come up with a reliable solution, as in order to allow bonnet to open a much larger section than you initially think is...

Sticky: Re: What have you done with your marlin today

Drove the Cabrio up to Cromford for a walk along the canal and picnic lunch in the sunshine yesterday. Wouldn't have even dreamt of attempting it today or Stoneleigh .

Re: Early Sportster hood / frame

As Marlin is supposed to be starting up again , it may be that you can get a hood through them in the near future as they surely have the pattern.

    Re: Idle Air-Control valve, testing:-

You should be able to feel a slight vibration through it with the engine running, if you can then it's likely ok . Air leaks as usual can be checked by spraying brake cleaner or similar around the...

    Re: Handbrake switch

I can confirm that A MGF/ Landrover Defenderl handbrake switch will replace the original Ford Sierra one used on the Cabrio. It's a straight swap , no mods needed.

    Re: Cabrio on eBay

This Cabrio was once mine, except it isn't the same vehicle.
Apparently at some point a previous owner had two Cabrio's that he took apart to impart some TLC . They were then put back together with...
