    I did have an A Frame, personal choice I went down the trailer route which I prefer but creates another problem of storage.
    If over 750 kg it will need to be a braked A Frame

    Attached picture of my fuel tank with swirl pot high pressure pump drawing fuel from the top of the tank.
    Is yours the same ?, as I have not had the same problems you mention

    We did the North Coast 500 in 2016 could see then what problems would be occurring in the future pretty much what you say.
    It was enjoyable then, 2017 we did the Causeway Coast then over the border...

    Had the same issues with mine. ended up replacing the alternator and grooved belt.
    Also did try belt dressing spray as a temporary measure

    I recently replaced track rod ends suspension arms & ARB bushes new boot covers, whilst wrestling with the ARB with ratchet straps the thought crossed my mind about the possibility of leaving it off....

    I did my rear coil springs with the rear swing arms in place with spring compressors a bit fiddly but no great problem, access was easy as I did have the rear tub off when I replaced them.

    My ARB mounting had split similar to pictures in the thread and had not been welded previously, on this occasion corrosion was not an issue in this area.
    I am keeping an eye on the offside ARB...

    My nearside ARB mounting suffered this problem early last summer, plate made and welded looked good will keep a close eye on both sides.
    Mine is the standard ARB set up
