I’ve been looking at those seats for my Sportster, a local trimmer reckons he can make some nice tie on cushions for them. Are they OK?

Adrian Bull and I at Bicester Heritage today for a Wearescramblers meet for kit cars and the like. The red car is a Triumph special which had come all the way from Cambridge!
A local guy had a full payment with them for a kit, he’s very worried!
Adrian and I at the local Platinum Jubilee event.

I did try doing just this with the existing setup but the nylon refused to budge, angle grinder next.
Found something that may do the job. M8x30mm with 20mm mushroom slotted head.

Excellent, thanks.
Or do what I do, use Esso 99 octane, it’s zero ethanol, but you’ll need to stop buying that six pack of weekend lager to fund it!
Thats awesome, I wish I still had the time, money, blah, blah, to get stuck into a project and get that ‘first drive’ feeling again.
Good thread, you don’t know where the slotted bumper bolts came from do you, the bolts holding front of the wings to the stays?
Yes I’v got som elf those but the heads are only 16mm, the existing heads are 22mm, I’ll have to hunt around.
Thanks for that, struggling to see how the spring fits though!
Believe it or not I can hear the nearside headlamp rattling in it's shell over and above the V8!
A slight bend of the adjustment tab on the slotted head bolt with some pliers stopped it.
An ongoing issue for some of us Sportster owners. Mine is particularly odd in that there's only one bumper bolt front and rear on the wings, the stay doesn't go full width of the wing and the offside...
Bumping this three as found another good source of bolts.

Yes mine is, thanks.
Is the Cabrio tank the same as a Sportster does anyone know.
Was a good day out and the drive there and back is always fun.
Great looking car and the best colour.
Thanks for that, I need to do the same.
edit: Just had a look, that’s a very confusing list of products, I can see I need the old ones in hand and a clear head!
Awesome, I had a white TC Coupe, brilliant car.
