I took a mould of the original using re-meltable pvc, then cast one using epoxy resin - then painted silver / laquer.

I traced the Marlin logo on the build manual cover onto a piece of brass sheet and cut it out.

            Re: Marlin Grill Badge

If you can find two Marina badges you can make a Marlin badge by cutting one in half behind the (r) and removing the end (a) then from the second badge cut a letter (l) out of the M then you have Mar/l/in/ Not my own idea
Ben Caswell probably not the last word on anything here!!

I was sorting through my old motorcycle bits and bobs and found a couple of tank badges one was from a Triumph and the other from on old Ossa trials bike anybody got any ideas what names I could make from those?

Don, where did you get the 'c' from? Cortina maybe? What did you do with the rest of the letters?

                          Nearest airport.
                          Bolkow and LOX.

                          Perhaps you need:
                          Triumph, Wolsey and ATkins
                          Marlin Berlinetta 2.1 Efi

technically the only badge needed to spell bollox is the old austin rover insignia contraversial but true!!!!
