    Hi folks
I am working my way through the spaggetti that is pretending to be the wiring loom on my Marina base Roadster and wondering if I still need to use the Ballast resistor and or the voltage stabiliser?
Cant seem to find VS so probably dont need it?
    Any guidance would be appreciated!
Pinto motor if it makes any difference!!

    Re: Electrics

When I replaced my Marina engine with a Pinto unit I just used the same standard Marina wiring and coil less any ballast resister and has worked ok for 2000 miles.Just had to lengthen or shorten some of the wiring for dizzy, temp, oil pressure switch.

whether you will need the voltage stabiliser depends pretty much on the instruments you have or are intending to use.If Smiths units then the answer is probably that you will. Ballast resistor depends on the coil used.
