  • Seat Belts & MOT

Hello, my Roadster has just failed its MOT as the passenger seat belt stitching has failed.
The car has 3 point static belts (non inertia), does anyone have experience of where to get some new belts as it is apparently not acceptable to have them professionally restitched

      Jonathan,
Securon is the one you need.
      http://www.securon.co.uk/seatbelts_layouts.htm
Go for part number 200 or 300/15 or 300/30 or 300/45 depending on your application.

If your seat belts were supplied by Marlin(YKC), they may have come from Unwin Safety Systems, Bedford Tel : 01234 352243
They exchanged some seatbelt stalks for me from YKC, and were incredibly helpful. They may even offer a solution involving less cost than you expect.

Thanks to all who responded, Quickfit Lowther Rd Stanmore Middx 020 8206 0101 e mail [email protected]

They came up trumps making a new piece with metal mounting plate in 15 minutes for less than £10. To be recommended.
