I don't know if anyone has seen the continuing story from Davis Banes in Sydney but there are some superb pictures of his car being built in the 80's as well as a number of pictures of his car at rally's, you may even find your car in one of them. Worth a look anyway. http://web.mac.com/dbanes/iWeb/Site/Davds%27s%20Marlin.html

Your absolutely right Adrian. Mine's the blue marlin SPH 365M. Built by Richard Ravenscroft, I'm the second owner. It's now having a hard life as a class 7 trials car. Still blue (just) but a lot higher off the ground! Check out a clip of it on YouTube. Just enter my name.

Your right Adrian, it is a continuing story! Ive owned the car since 2000 at the moment its waiting for a new clutch, hood and insides. would love to get on with it but this is the first day off work for 6 months, and when I went into the garage to look at all the new shiny bits that ive got together ready for the rebuild my lovely wife pointed out that if I intended to spend the day with that yellow thing and not her I could be making a big mistake!!!!!!!!
Think im going to let her go to a better home (the marlin that is not the wife) A pity because Ive finally found out what the engine is, and why I could beat almost anything away from the lights, even if it did eat clutches and gearboxes at an alarming rate.
so soon to appear on E-bay, one yellow marlin with all the bits to bring it back to life
