I need a new rear differential to fit a 2.0 Cortina with 4 speed box. I'm having trouble finding one and was wondering if anyone has one or can recommend places that might have one.
If there is one available that is geared for 5 speed gearbox and there is a gearbox available then I would go for that too!

    Thanks very much.

      Re: Differential

Hi Graham. You could try KitFit who operate out of Lincoln. They specialise in donor parts for Cortina, Sierra and Escort. All parts are reconditioned and ready for service. Their tel. phone no. is 01522778877 and the contact name is John.I have dealt with them in the past, and found them to be reliable and quick. Prices seem to be very good. I have spoken to him on the matter of Cortina axles and he did have some available, but you need to know which type and ratio. John is very knowledgeable and will advise if required. Come back if you need more. Brian.

        Re: Differential

Thanks both. Tim, I managed to mess up with the standing order thingy, so have sent you a cheque, which should be with you by now. Thanks for the post.
Brian, that's a great contact, thanks very much. I will try them.
        Thanks again.

          I concur with Brian.
I am running a 3.75 Atlas axle and a new steering rack. Both from Kit-Fit. Very good service.
