A good place to start would be http://wheelspin.info/pdf/0000/ReportFormat0.pdf

The club holds databases on members cars. Either the membership secretary or model representatives could help.
Try emailing them directly from the MOC Representatives tab to the left.
If the car is road registered that will help but if you can find the chassis number usually located on the nearside chassis leg behind the wheel more info should be possible.

1800TC, Unleaded ported head, stage 2 cam. Ford Type 9 gearbox, Dolomite Sprint rear axle fitted with MGF disc brakes.
Three core radiator, Renault Clio vented front discs.

Loads of Marlin Reference can be found documents here or there.

      Re: History of my Marlin

I had this same problem a couple of years ago. I got the whole history of my car from the DVLA. Phone No. 01792 783869, fax 783221. Or www.direct.gov.uk/motoring The person who dealt with me was Sian Davies, DVLA, Longview Rd, Swansea, SA99 1AJ. The job cost me £5 but was well worth it becaust they sent me photo copies of all docs relating to the car since it was first registered. From this info I was able to contact the guy who built the car and he sent me a cd with 40 build up photos he took at the time. AS the owner of the vehicle you are intitled to know its entire history.

thanks , i have looked on wheelspin and found the car ,
it looks like it hasn't been trialed since around 2000,
what i really need is to find out who built the engine or whether it is a standard B-series on a single 45 webber
