        Re: Start of the month

I taxed mine for 6 months from friday as I don't go looking for bad weather and last winter seemed to never end.

            Re: Start of the month

For the first time, I intend taxing mine for 12 months.

There has been so much nice weather in October, November, February and March that we feel we have missed out on over the last few years. Nothing better than a crisp bright Spring morning ride in a Marlin, then stopping for a bacon butty and a brew.

Don't fancy it in icy weather though. I'm happy driving in snow and ice but don't trust these 4 x 4 drivers who have traction but don't seem to realise that they can't stop any better.

Mine's taxed. Just a shame that the dashboard's off and I'm up to my ears in woodwork for the door caps and dash surround. :-(

                    Re: Start of the month

Taxed mine the end of December (well, it is free).

But it hasn't been out of the garage since about November.

Wimps! All the trials fraternity are now wondering whether to take their cars off the road after the Lands End (at Easter) and save a few months tax over the summer whilst they rebuild them for the next trials season ;-)

Only had mine a few months, but it will always be taxed and driven all year round, as long as its dry of course. Don,t want to get it dirty

Croatian situation with MOT, tax, insurance and registration is a bit different than in UK, plus our winters are much more severe, but I have my Marlin on the road whole 12 months around.
