This works OK on the Marlin style backgroung but on the default its white on white and you cant read it.

A quick fix is to tripple click on the text area.
This will select all the text, and change its colour temporarily.
That way you can read it without scrolling to the bottom of the page, changing your default style etc.

Its not perfect, but it works well enough to read the text when you are not using the Marlin style that some use as default

I have renewed my Cabrio insurance this time with 2Gether Insurance and got a great deal compared to others I looked at, and seem to be very helpfull and friendly. They have even given a extra 5% of next years renewal when I complete there survey.

Re: 2Gether Insurance have agreed a club scheme for Marlin members.

I've also just insured Vikki through 2Gether. My renewal from Adrian Flux this year was £360. At first I thought, "fair enough, I did have that little mishap last February" - but I decided to do a bit of legwork all the same.

Well, 2Gether has done exact same cover as AF for £160. That's with my claim from last year. Wow.

Upon ringing up to cancel the renewal with AF, I asked why it was so high, and why they where now offering the same policy renewal for £162... They couldn't answer really, as none of my details have changed. It's just gouging, and hoping you won't shop arouind.

Highly recommend 2Gether. I've already got my insurance docs via eMail.

              Hi folks
Have just changed to these guys, £98 as opposed to my renewal quote of £150(Graham Sykes)
They are very easy to deal with.

As a matter of interest they offer Kit Car breakdown cover for around £45 for the year and if you wish to add european cover it only goes up to around £65
That seems resonable as I paid around £100 for european cover just for my two week trip last year!( I had quite a time even getting that cover as most firms did not want to know when I mentioned "Kit Car"
I have RAC at the mo that covers the Marlin and the Eurobox but does not cover abroad. So just before we go on our trip to France later this year I will give it a go and then let the RAC lapse at the end of the term

Little stars they are, £110 agreed value 1000 miles per year, footman and James £265 for the same cover

Trying to give 2gether a chance but it seems impossible to get a phone reply, an email address, or an online quote as when the Marlin model is requested it gives a choice of Hunter or Sportster only.

                    Hi Peter
As I recall I had trouble trying to do it online but on the phone it was quick and painless
Hope your luck improves because their prices are very competitive!!

I got a quote from them recently by telephone. Apparently their on-line quotes don't cater for older cars like some Marlins so they prefer to quote individually.

I had a reasonable quote from 2Gether but Graham Sykes were much cheaper, although it took them a week to come up with it. If they follow their previous performance when I eventually go for the cover it will have crept up significantly.

After leaving a phone message 2gether contacted me and they have my business for the coming year. The premium was only about £4 less, but their admin fee was £12.50 as opposed to my existing broker's £30. Insuring company are Highway, part of LV. 2gether seem to be working hard for a smaller margin than the bigger brokers.

Thats interesting about the admin fee as I have just contacted them re raising my limited mileage cover from 3k to 5k and was quoted £30 admin fee!!
I will have to question that!

re getting old and insurance. 2gether don't deal with the over 75s.... may 2012 [when i was 76] graham sykes sent a renuwal reminder, the premium was £150. july 2012 they are asking an eye watering £399.40...... i now have a reasonable quote of £180, from frank pickles.
