  • Petrol sender unit

On my MK 2 roadster I have what I assume is a Ford petrol tank with a broken sender unit (Top mounted)
can anyone suggest a replacement unit I can fit as I am struggling to find one on ebay.

    Re: Petrol sender unit

The Roadster tank was a MK1 Escort Van Tank.
Depending on your instruments, the Escort sender is a poor match.

I think it was Jez Cox who grafted a Marina Sender onto an Escort flange to get accurate readings. Published in Pitstop I think.

The Jez Cox article is on page 20 of April 2010 Pit Stop.

              This is their catalogue PDF.

Over 360 pages of goodies, some of which I never even knew still existed. Wonderful!
