Can anyone recomend a supplier for a replacement hood for a Berli preferably in the WEst Mids.
Mine is getting rather frayed at the edges. I've just visited Don Trimming (Birmingham 23) They will make a new one (based on my exisiting one) for £350 (Mohair) or £250 (PVC). Fitting would be extra. Prices are of course plus VAT. They recommend seeing the exisiting hood on the car so they can allow for any shrinkage.
Incidently they said it would be unwise to have a PVC hood if you have a hard top as the PVC hood is prone to shrink when removed from the car to allow the hard top to be fitted.
They will also make up and fit a tonneau cover
