Marlin on eBay

Hi...Can anyone give me an honest appraisal of the Alfa engined Marlin listed on eBay (item No 121013628968)......Does anyone have any prior knowledge of this car?.....
.....Ive found two other Marlins listed but am drawn to this car because of its Alfa engine.....

I cannot comment on how good or bad the car is, the only thing I will do is show you another listing from September

Sold for £1371 with no MOT

So this is the same car for £3000 with an MOT, bear that in mind you can get an idea of how much to offer should you decide to buy.

Do not buy without looking there are always good cars available from within the club with known history. Some times worth a little wait for the right car that suits you.
Point worth mention Alfa gearboxes have been like rocking horse - - - - to find for some time now.

.....Thanks for the advice on Alfa gear boxes Danny.......Seller did mention via email that "The clutch thrust bearing squeals, the gearbox is sound, but does not want to be hurried"......

It was at Exeter show, see my post in meetings for a pic of it. I spoke to the guy who said he'd bought it with no mot, had done work to get it back on road and was now selling it. I got the impression it was a purchase to make money not because he wanted the car. Did seem quite well turned out though just paint a bit faded. Engine looked great for info he did say he'd paid 1300 for it.

They do come in other colours as well as red
