Well I have bitten the Bullet!
            BK 550's @ 17" x 7" et38 with 205 x 55 x 17
Fitted and out for test run earlier, great improvement in steering feel and better grip in corners,I think they look good too, although I will now have to paint the rear drums as they now show through.
Tried 22psi but have now dropped to 20 after a run out, should have listened to Lee!!
            Cheers

Very nice Bryan, pleased you think they make a big difference, don't paint the drums do a rear disk conversion several ways to do this either a kit from likes of rally design or merlin motor sport or change the hubs and carriers from a breakers yead, but if you go the later route just check you have he correct bottom arms.

                Nice choice of wheels Bryan!
(says he with tongue in cheek - I bought the same ones!)

How much clearance do you have to the rear chassis?
I had to add 10mm spacers, (though my tyres are marginally wider at 215)

                  Hi Folks
Lee, rear discs eh!! maybe a job for the future.
Mike I have a good 10mm clearance at the back, I am wondering whether to add 5 or 6mm spacers just to be sure.
The front is not a problem

                    Bryan,
I have a good 10mm clearance on the back and have had no problems, the fronts are very close to the anti roll bar when on full lock but you never drive on full lock accept when parking in a tight space and my mot man has a glass eye and is blind in the other so no issues.

                      Hi Bob
I see you have same width of tyre and same offset so will probably stick as i am then
Must admit I forgot to check front on full lock visually, but to get into my garage I have to use full lock on the move and did not notice a prob last night so should be o/k

                      Cheers

Hi Bryan if you put your car on full lock and see how much room you have at the top of the tire and the spring.

That's my concern too, Lee. Mine foul at the moment on full lock, but I'm hoping that when I adjust the camber angle (mine are a long way out) it will remove the problem.

No troubles with adjustable TCA and compression struts
