    have you looked at the pictues posted in the post listed called AFM (Air Flow Meter)?

      Thanks peter, have seen those pics, neat job. However on the e36 engine the inlet manifold and throttle housing come much closer to side panel such that the standard 90 degree hose does not fit.Ihave tried aluminium hose ducting and modified its shape ,but does not look great!cheers.

        Hi Jeremey
        A pic of my m50 in a cabrio is under "BMW power" in Sportster messages if that helps.I had to cut 3.5 " out of the inlet manifold to get it all inside panel, worked well.Cheers C
