Congratulations Mike. Your dedication and persistence have paid off handsomely. How you also found the hours to keep up such a detailed and informative build diary at the same time continues to amaze me. Well done. Peter.

              Well done Mike.
Choice of colour is a matter of individual taste so I'm not going to hand out any advice, choose from Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet, and of course Black or White.

Re: The Last Marlin Cabrio kit is no more...........

Well done Mike, look forward to seeing it soon! Run it for a while to shake out any problems before you strip and paint it. My advice on colours.... avoid dark colours, inside they make a small cabin claustrophobic, and outside they show any small imperfections. Also think how the colours work with each other, even mainstream manufacturers get that wrong! A friend has a Honda HRV in gold which looks nice, but the blue interior is completely wrong in my eyes. Green or red with tan interior work well together, but blue works better with grey or silver. I'm not even convinced that a wood dash looks quite right with a blue car, better to have a turned aluminium dash. Using a manufacturers colour makes subsequent matching easier, and there are often small items you need to spray yourself later on. Ultimately its up to you. I went through every colour of the rainbow, and some more, before I decided. If you want something different, I've never seen a purple Cabrio.... Rover Amaranth with a grey interior maybe? I had it on my shortlist. Dave.

                        Hi John

A while back you suggested you had a load of photos to update your build site - How about keeping a build diary on here?
As my Cabrio build has come close to a natural end - what will follow will really now be tinkering - we could do with someone to keep posting a diary for our "Tarts car".
Scott is keeping the Berli guys entertained, and now DC with his Roadster.

How about you with your complete Hunter/Cabrio re-build?
(What will you call it when its finished - a Hunter?.........or a Cabrio?)

I think this kind of blue would suit your cabrio....

Very, very nice. Do we know who's Berlinetta it is, and what paint colur?

There are a couple of Blue ones I photographed and logged in my "Impressive Cabrio" folder:

Don't know who's this is, or the paint code/name

But this is Pater Licence's which I also like:
