      Ok back from holiday and back to it again.....new front Spanx adjustables now in hand, rear ones ordered direct from Spax.

        Last few jobs before the MOT:
        Engine oil and filter change done
        Gearbox oil checked and topped up
        Rear axle oil topped up
        Full coolant change done
        Front suspension regreased
        New stereo wired in
        Wiper squirters rewired and repiped
        Run up to full temperature and all lights and wipers checked - ok

        Only concern is the front wheel bearing play, it's there but don't know if it's excessive and handbrake is on 6 clicks......

          Good luck with the MOT.
          - 9th owner of T693 SSC possibly a factory built Ford based V8 Sportster
          - 4th owner of Q309 RNV, an early Cabrio built by Bob Copping, owned Doug & Liz Billings for 16 years
          - 9th Custodian of JRR 929D, Triumph Vitesse based special Paul Moorehouse built prior to the Triumph Roadster kits.
          - 8th owner of Roadster chassis number 2395. Now owned by Barry!
          - Builder of chassis number 2325 (PKK 989M) in the mid 80's. Now owned by Eric & Lynne.

            Given the opportunity I would consider draining both the gearbox and back axle of any old oil. not easy as the differential offers no real facility to do so. The remains of the oil could date back to the 1970's.

                    Well done, had to double take, looks very similar to mine, at least from fifty feet
