      Hi Keith,

I hope you received my email regarding my availability to do the Thetford to Buckingham sections. but in case you haven't I thought I had better put it on here.

        Hi Keith

Would it be an appropriate idea to show a list of volunteers for each section so far, so that we can all check we are on the list, and highlight where there may currently be gaps - then we can give some thought to who we may know who could get involved in those runs?

Mark's post has prompted me to put the current state of play up on here. As you can see we are far from having the number of drivers needed to go ahead. It will be a great shame if we have to turn it all off at this stage.

              Keith

You can put me down for the St Neotts to Buckingham leg if no other members come forward.

              Mike

                    Hi Keith,

If you get desperate for the first leg I will look into staying overnight and then doing the first and second legs. but would obviously prefer not to.

                    Mark.

Re: C2C - The Great Smokie Run

That is much appreciated Mark. I am makig no promises but one of the things that I am trying to do is to get some sponsored accommodation as I recognise it would mean a very early start for the first team to get in place. That is going to be my number 1 priority when I get back the week after next. I will let you know what I manage to achieve

Sounds good and also let me have details of how you envisage getting sponsorship i.e. on line charity website.

The old charity collection site from LeJog has not been closed by the look of things.
It can't be resurrected as the charity is different.
Worth doing, although they take an admin percentage they get tax relief on all donations taken through them. It also means that people like me can contribute using Paypal and not cheque or cash.

I intend to set up a Just Giving account but I can't do it until I am absolutely certain that I have cars for all the stages otherwise if I have to pull the plug on it and folk have made donations, I wouldn't be able to return them.
