  • Roadster side screen

    Hi all,
Does anyone know where I can get hold of the clear flexible plastic sheet used in the side screens? I'm thinking of replacing the original screens as I find it dangerous when they are in place due to the ageing of the plastic and the the fact that it's like looking through a letter box on the drivers side due to the flap for the drivers arm!
I'm planning on getting hold of a suitable zip and stitching the plastic straight onto the zip so there's no canvas to reduce the visibility.
The plastic used in caravan awnings is to thin for this, it needs to be twice as thick.
Has any one tried this yet???
    Gareth.

I'd be interested in finding out how you get on. I need to replace the panels in my hood, they're all opaque now.

http://www.allplas.co.uk/acatalog/Cl...le_PVC-p1.html Have a great choice of PVC in clear, smoked, size and thickness and the prices look better than Woolies.
