  • Mirrors.and electrics.

I was not happy with the mirror positions last year in particular the N/Side view.
So on Sunday I moved them on to the doors with the aid of a couple of plinths.
Massive improvement in rear view .Why they were fitted vertically is a mystery, just need to fill the holes with stainless screws and touch them up and job done.

Looks good, I wonder if I can door mount like that on my Roadster. Currently they are on stalks attached to the door hinge, not an ideal look and get in the way.

These are tex mini mirrors and will fit anything .

          Re: Mirrors.and electrics.

Last year I had a complete electrical failure.
All the electrics ran through one main fuse that was too small and the wire too thin .
30 AMPS.With the lights on and heater etc .plus engine fan the total was 45 amps ,so the inevitable happened .
Auto electrican sorted it out last week .
New independant feed to radfan and up grade main wiring and fuses. So I hope to be able to use the car at night now .20150314_151931.jpg
