I just had a letter from the DVLA to say I taxed my vehicle as PLG and it should have been taxed as Historic as it was built before 1975, and that they have arranged a full refund. Very nice. I didn't realise the rules had changed and my car had become tax exempt. They also sent me a new V5 to reflect this, although the new document still says taxation class PLG. D'you think they made a a mistake that I should keep quiet about?
