      Hi Geoff,
I've some more work to do in the near future, so I could write a 'Part II'. I'll PM you when I get something together. Thanks

Thank you for the complement Cees.
I'm still thinking of adding some red to where the dash is embossed on top...

Haven't made as much progress as I'd like recently but had a good day today doing some of the interior work.

2 part transmission tunnel finished and ready to go in. Used M5 aluminium rivnuts to create the thread required to hold the homemade gear lever escutcheon plate. Riveted an aluminium wear plate on the drivers side where I expect my clutch foot to rest.

Interior finished. Not sure about the steering wheel I've recovered though. Too much?20180308_192135.jpg20180308_192113.jpg

That's the windscreen bonded in. Got a couple of bits still to tidy but that's one of the last major jobs completed.
Got my mojo back and with the milder weather, just can't wait to get back in the garage every evening and at the weekends.

Done a lot of work since my last post but to cut a long story short, it passed it's MOT today, almost exactly 2yrs to the day I bought it and started the rebuild. Phase 1 complete!
