    Hi everyone I have had the chance to buy a marlin roadster triumph based having done some research it appears the reg for this car is now on another marlin the problem is I thought Q registrations were non transferable?.

    Legally they are not. But if someone cuts the chassis number from one and transfers it to another, who can tell.

    Its not unusual even for modern cars, but it's much more difficult to do.

    1984 Marlin Roadster SWB.
    1800TC, Unleaded ported head, stage 2 cam. Ford Type 9 gearbox, Dolomite Sprint rear axle fitted with MGF disc brakes.
    Three core radiator, Renault Clio vented front discs.
