    Re: MOT

List below completed took it for a thrash, she sounds glorious and drives brilliantly.

Now to drive it every day and put some mileage on her before Le Mans Classic.

Will I ever get this smile off my face?

    MOT passed.

Drove it for around 20 miles and then a quick check with my mechanic and home.

Now before I go to Le Mans Classic

    1. Change coolent
    2. Fit new Alternator
    3. Tidy engine hole
    4. Thrash the hell out of it
    5. Fix things that break

    Etc, etc.

        Weather?
It's cold and wet and horrible - we even had some snow

I drove mine unpainted for months, had planned that which is why I asked for black gel coat. I wonder how many others had other than white for the gelcoat, anyone know?

Well she is every colour of the rainbow but I love her.

I did what I promised and she is a stock 1300 mk2 Roadster right down to the number plate at the rear.

Painted, unpainted or patina, it’s on the road to be enjoyed which is more than mine.

Thanks Adrian, looking great and enjoy.
I am nearly ready to fire up the engine for the first time in god knows how many years. Dash all wired up as is the engine. Just enough power in the battery to turn it over a few times to check for a spark and oil pressure light to go out. New battery and plumb the fuel then fingers crossed fire her up, not for long though as no cooling system plumbed in yet.
I am enjoying the rebuild as much as I will (eventually) driving it.
Get the World Cup out of the way then I will get back out there.
