  • Windscreen Wipers

my new Sportster hasn't got wipers & as my arms arn't long enough to reach whilst driving I need to fit some.
I've seen some photos of 3 arms fitted, is there a reason for that?
Can someone suggest a shopping list of parts I'll need to fit them please.
    thanks

    Re: Windscreen Wipers

The basic system consists of Mini wiper motor (two speed), two wheelboxes (standard) and one reduced arc in front of the driver (RHD), 9 inch arms and 9 inch blades. I sourced my bits and bobs from John at Kit-Fit, whose number escapes me at the moment. I have a rudimentary sketch with the spacing of the wheelboxes. If you wish to contact me with any questions my number is in Pitstop, David Siddall (Sheldon Meet). Regards

John, to the best of my knowledge is in semi-retirement, working from home. It's some years since I last visit, then he had containers racked out with Ford spares (his speciality). He is a very helpful chap, certainly worth a phone-call.

There's a Forum Topic named Pitstop Magazines that has an electronic version of all the magazines...... should tide you over till the paper version arrives.
