Re: Le Mans and not quite return

Today I have been mainly repairing and painting the nose cone.

Leave for 24 hours a rub down and polish.

      Rustoleum.

Re: Le Mans and not quite return

OK its taken longer than I expected but today the old girl went through yet another mot, the second in 3 months.

It had to go through another as it was a requirement of the insurance company.

But she is mechanically sound and safe to drive.

Had to replace the whole of the drivers side suspension and for good measure did the same for the passenger side.

Replaced steering rack as wasn't happy with the old.

                  Bodywork repaired by yours truly.

Drove her home today and she drove great.

                  Now the rest.

                  Glad to have her back.

Roll on next Le Mans Classic.

Nice one Adrian, you should have a few more nice days having fun before the winter sets in.

Will be driving her tomorrow and taking her to cop hill climb on Sunday.

                      Thanks for all the support.

I think I saw your man on his way back in it, along Lane End Road, looks smart, and why did I sell mine.

                            Hiya

Yep that was me, I am surprised you could see the car with that wide smile on my face.

I won't be selling this one, if anything I think my grandson will get it.

It was great, and no I didn't take part.

It is mainly for classic cars.
