    Re: Wing piping

    Hi

Just found the piping supplied by Marlin for the mk2 and it is exactly the same as Ben says and is smooth plastic I. E. not ribbed.

    And is 4m long.

probably wasn't supplied with the Mk1 kit.

Just measured an off cut and its 1/4 inch(app 7mm) hollow bead with a 1 1/4inch(30mm) tail.

I think you will have fun trying to get the old fixings undone it may pay to get new M6 replacements.

Wollies have a good selection of wing piping.

I was disappointed that they did not attend Stoneleigh this year. Their postage can sometimes make them unattractive.

+ 1 for woolies. I got all my door seals, window channel and wing piping from them. Guaranteed quality.

Thanks for everyone's replies. A useful source for anyone wanting to source piping... also shows that you can get almost anything for an old car in this country of ours if you know where to look ...
