  • Chelmsford and back

    Well just got back after 150 miles round trip.

    Drive home just now was a bit challenging with the wind and I forgot that no one uses their mirrors in the dark.

    You sure have to keep your wits about you.

    But went like a dream have upgraded the gear extension
    and will post a picture tomorrow when its light.

    You’re a brave man, I’ve avoided just working on mine in the cold!
    - 9th owner of T693 SSC possibly a factory built Ford based V8 Sportster
    - 4th owner of Q309 RNV, an early Cabrio built by Bob Copping, owned Doug & Liz Billings for 16 years

    - Builder of chassis number 2325 (PKK 989M) in the mid 80's. Now owned by Eric & Lynne.

        Yep it was bloody cold but thanks to the Irvine Jacket it was tolerable.

            As promised, upgraded Gear Extension.

            Less cumbersome than the previous .

            Will need a lick of paint to tidy it up but I am very pleased with it and it is a very positive movement .
