I have started upgrading the front brakes on the cabrio. It was fitted with 240mm discs and calipers from the original 1.6 donor sierra. which were ok but not great.

I have fitted 283mm discs from a 2wd cosworth sierra along with a pair of calipers from a diesel ford focus. the mounting holes in the uprights had to be drilled out to 12mm but otherwise was very straight forward. The focus uses 280 mm discs but it all clears nicely. I was fortunate to get the calipers for free from my local scrapyard from a low mileage damaged car.

I have seen on here several mentions of upgrades to the master cylinder fitting a landrover unit does anyone have details of which one is best to use. And some advice on servo would be welcome.
