The boat, its all done as a joke on the local froggies, there is a navigation map of the Rade (inland sea by Brest), the paper is a copy of Le Telegramme, bit like the old evening papers in the UK, and the name is a sort of tongue pull, the original name was Jules Verne, a sf writer and being English his rival was of course H G Wells, it raises eyebrows here but in good fun!!

Hi - You could use stainless screws, lots of suppliers who have all sorts of obscure threads and weird heads, often seen at shows too. My preferred supplier is D. Middleton & Son who specialise in motorcycle fittings, but I've bought loads of bolts, etc from them. Always very fast service. Phone for a catalogue or check website and browse - chances are you will find some other must-have bits! Call 01924 470807 and leave message or go to www.stainlessmiddleton.co.uk. One word of warning - stainless has a similar strength to mild steel bolts but does not match high tensile steel, so don't be tempted to use stainless for brake or suspension fittings.
