        Dave, Ha 😀 and Noooooooo.
Got to concentrate and focus on my Roadster. Been distracted on other things recently and need to get back on it.
When the Roadster is finished I can put that in the little garage and maybe just maybe then or go for a 7.

I know, just winding you up. Distractions are usually more interesting than what you should be doing but they can re-energise you. Well thats what I tell me when I go off on a tangent. Keep aiming for the 7.

I have been waiting for a sportster kit from marlin and have bmw donor parts ready but because Terry is selling the company they can't supply. I was considering buying this and fitting my bmw engine and rear subframe . What do you guys think would it take much modification could you provide me with some dimensions fir engine mounting points etc?I actually started another thread on this earlier today but came across this this evening.

If you have the skills why not? But do not underestimate the task. The V8 is probably recoverable and saleable. Or rebuild and complete the Sportster as it is and sell the BMW bits. For what it is worth (nothing) I would go for the latter, but I have too many toys anyway. Good luck.

Sounds like I just need to jump in feet first and weigh up the options with the car in front of me. Quite a bit already spent on the BMW parts is the main reason for wanting to go that way. S[QUOTE]is a Still not sure if its basically the same chassis or majorly different?

Well, here's my two-pennyworth...... I am in the middle of deciding on an engine swap for my Cabrio; therefore, if you went the route of wishing to sell the BMW parts I would definitely be interested and would request for dibs so to speak. Unfortunately not up for a V8 as have just sold my TVR Chimaera 4L this year so have already scratched that particular itch.

Thanks for that I’m just waiting for Marlin to come back on the chassis which I think will be the decider
