  • What I think is a roadster on Facebook with a BMW Engine

    I don't know if this is going to work but I saw this on Facebook, hopefully the link will work.

    Apologies if it doesn't.

    I know it’s not much to go on. But just wondering what people think, and what people think it’s worth. Hasn’t been on the road since 2008, got a 1.8 bmw engine. Needs a bit of work to get running....

            "That engine installation looks a tad tight."

            It might be 'tight' - but there looks like plenty of room for proper air filters on those SUs - unlike the B-series/MGB set up.
            [I don't like running an engine with no filtration]

              I agree, but Sucarb.co.uk do a nice short ram pipe with a mesh guard. If nothing else they make a wonderful sound.
