    Hi

3 x Marlin Roadsters, 1 x Jaguar E Type (1965) and 1 x MG Roadster going, staying at Maison Blanche campsite.

Doing it old school, Dover /Calais driving half way, staying overnight and onto Le Mans next day.

No motorways and the same coming back.

Hope to get there and back in one piece this time.

    See you there.

I am travelling on the Wednesday overnight, camping at Chateau Cucumber....or something like that, about 30 mins from track. Am doing some laps on Saturday morning...I think, hope to say hello.

It’s great to see a few people are going. It would be good to meet everyone at some point.

My travel plans: catch Le Shuttle mid afternoon Wednesday. Stay in EU or thereabouts one night. Arrive: Le Mans about 2pm. camping for four nights. Depart Le Mans Monday morning 6th July mid afternoon shuttle.

I’m considering setting up a WhatsApp group to aid communication in the run up and during the event. If you are interested please send me a pm with your name and phone number. Please don’t post it here for fear that scurrilous foreign robots will blag it for nefarious purposes.

Le Mans Classic (2-3-4-5 July 2020) now 30 June to 3 July 2022

It is back on this year. Whoopee!!!

I’ve changed the title of this thread to reflect the new dates.

                  Now is anybody else going?

                    There's 8 of us going.

We are travelling via ferry to Calaise on the Wednesday before, stopping off halfway, then continuing on Thursday to camp at Maison Blanche until the Monday. Where we will return the same way, stopping, once again, halfway.

                    Cars include

                    Mk1 Jag E-type
                    Triumph Stage
                    MGB Roadster
                    2 Marlins
                    1 support van
