  • Berlinetta Headlights

Hi guys. I am progressing nicely with the restoration and am now at the point of fitting the headlights. The guy before me removed the headlights and never left them. I bought new nests and headlights but there seems to be something missing. The original white bowls that get bolted to the chrome cross bar are there and these new nest fit them some how but I don’t think I am meant to see the fixings of the headlight. Should there be a ring of some sorts covering them?

            Re: Berlinetta Headlights

Not many restorers use the glass fibre bowl, but instead fit a quality stainless headlight unit (complete assembly) as supplied by SVC lighting just to name one supplier.

Great idea Danny, but beware cheap ones, they are a bad investment and go rusty very quickly, despite
being waxed etc etc to try and stop the process
