  • Berlinetta Old English White colour code

I have a Berlinetta chassis 31367 which came out of the factory in Dec 1988. The jel coat is old English white which I want to paint. I am trying to identify the colour code and think it may be Morgan Imperial white. Were there any set factory colours or were they all made to individual colours? I may have to resort to asking my body shop to colour match. Thanks

Paul, either your local body shop, or if you have a local auto paint supplier they will be able to do a match.

My local supplier has done good matching jobs for me in the recent past

Interesting, I am not aware of a colour gel coat option? Any one heard of this option before?

I would expect the colour to have faded over the years, so even if you can get a code it wouldn't match.

I picked mine up in September 1988, chassis no 1323 B.
Panels where standard white gel coat & bare aluminium.
Looking back at my order paperwork no options where available.
So I assume your trying to find out what the gel coat colour was.

I think most builders created thier own colour schemes.

Thank you gentlemen I will consult my local body shop. Doesn’t look good for Stoneleigh this year. Stay safe. Thanks Paul
