  • Brake pedal rubbers.

Hi folks. I need pedal rubbers for the brake pedal of my kitcar but unsure what to get as they are not mk3 brake and clutch pedals. Can anyone guide me in the right direction.

    Many Thanks.

This simplest solution is to use grip tape. It's used to stop people from slipping in wet areas and is idea for this.

          Re: Brake pedal rubbers.

Nearly 30 years ago, when you only had to get a MOT to use your creation, mine failed 1st time due to not having some form of anti slip on the brake pedal.
No mention was made of the clutch pedal.
My solution at the time was to cut some rubber matting to suit held in place with contact adhesive.
That is still in place nearly 30 years later. (see photo)
I did wondered how those cross drilled pedal covers, favoured by boy racers at the time, passed MOTs.

Your query reminded me that many years ago at a autojumble I bought some after-market pedal rubbers (see 2nd Photo)
perhaps while were on lockdown I should get round to fitting them.
I doubt the manufacturer is still going.

          Hope this helps
