  • AGS 423D? early Roadster on eBay

Whats the background to this one on eBay (link)?

    s-l1600.jpg

Described as 2L straight six and supported by images but DVLA has the reg. as Triumph 1600. Same car on Car and Classic has this: "...No logbook
    Kit number is present
Marlin owners club have found some history on the car and the old registration number
There may be enough evidence to attain the old reg number, if not once MOT'd the DVLA should be able to give an age related number plate...".

    Can anyone shed any light?

Jon, this car was originally XBF ---D when saved from "storage"

No log books, but owner managed to get an age related plate on the strength
    of our submission

I believe the car now has MoT and the above number is issued

I think he was saying that with a little effort it may be possible to revert back to
the original registration number - personally, I'm not sure of that

Whatever, it was a good result to have obtained at least an age related number

Regarding our recent PMs, would you like to remind me of details of the other
vehicle we talked about - a PM will suffice
