Another MK2, does anyone know if the later rear tub with the returned edge fits as a replacement for the earlier MK2 rear, the one with the straight up edge riveted to a tubular hoop?

Re: One more unfinished Roadster (LWB) for sale

I changed the rear tub on mine many years ago.
From what I remember the only difference was that the front edge of the tub attaches onto an angle iron support that also holds the hood frame mounting bracket, where as the later tub with the returned edge mounts onto a flat plate on the inside face of the return and the hood frame and mounts are different
So there is a small amount of welding

What's the asking price for the lot please?

And/or, if willing to split the kit, how much for all the bits that would fit a S.W.B. chassis?

By all means p.m. me if that's the preferred way to reply.

    Thanks in anticipation ~ Tom

Thanks for letting me/us know. As I said in my email to you, it would be a shame to split this L.W.B. kit, but you do have my offer if it's ever of any interest. Good luck ~ Tom
