By my reading of the current IVA regulations the windscreen needs to be marked E1 43R and what I have, in situ, is a Pilkington laminated screen with the correct markings etched on, or so I believe... see photo... P1140614.jpg

Best to check now because changing the glass is a job and a half especially on a finished car.

Well, funny you should say that... :-) Because... even though the glass is definitely up to spec, the installation isn't up to my spec. So, it's a coming out anyway. In fact, and as much as it pains me to say this, the whole machine needs to be dismantled and reassembled better. I'm not saying there isn't any good work, but I have a long list of 'issues' that I want to address.
