  • Lucas Inertia Starter Motor for Marina Based Roadster

Hi Do you by chance have either a Lucas M35J or M35G starter motor in working order that you would be happy to sell on please for my 1800 B series engine?

It has 2 bolt holes that are spaced 5" apart to fit it to the block. 9 or 10 teeth on the drive gear.

My current item has a burnt out armature and is therefore not economical to repair.

I am happy to fit brushes and end bushes if that's needed.

    Thanks for reading

From previous experience, always fit the correct correct drive gear to suit your ring-gear.
Swapping a ring gear is a much longer job.
