  • De-cambered rear springs

I am considering having new springs made for my Marina based Roadster.
One of the options was to have them decambered (flatter) eliminating the need for lowering blocks.
But - is that going to cause problems with the dampers bottoming out I wonder?

    Cheers, Robin

It could do, but if the lower mounting point is raised they would also be working at a shallower angle so less effective.

Hmmmmm - good point. But I will probably use Spax adjustables so that would eliminate that problem.
I think my main concern remains the possibilty of bottoming out. But I guess I could always get Spax to make me some shorter dampers? I think the Marina ones are made to order anyway?
