It’s not a straight swop, unless this one has already had Marina style spring saddles and handbrake/rear hydraulic hardware welded in place.
I did a detailed writeup on the FastMarina forum, in the days before this format of the Marlin forum that has become more picture friendly.
The Sprint axle will certainly handle increased power if you plan to tweak or replace a 1.8 Marina lump.MOC member since 05/97
