So, according to the Berlinetta Story by Dave Cunnington, it seems my car was a Prototype.

No, I don't know what the Kit Number is for my car featured in the sales literature. But I do know where Q195 JDV is

I don't know if it was standard in the kit, but did you know the Prototype had a built in Towbar?

It was the prototype, this pic is believed to be at the Newark Show in 1984.

Note the different bumpers and lack of a tow bar at this time

      Wow, interesting.
It now has the same flat Chrome half bumpers on the rear to match the front as shown in the brochure.
The Tailpipe exits straight, not angled.
And it has a different Dash. Black Vinyl covered Aluminium with a different configuration of the Dials
Wheels look the same but fat Pirelli's all round and Berlinetta 2 + 2 etched into the bottom right of the Boot Lid
Amazing to see it in pristine condition
