Looking good DC. Must make a nice change from Marlins for you.

Sure is a change Jon, and it's great to see it coming together.
Interesting to note some variations between Mr Ford and Mr BL
I am finding the constant cleaning/derusting/priming/painting a little wearing and
looking forward to soon getting a floor made and the body back on - once I've put
all the engine bits back on, finished the carb refurb. and the head/valves sorted.
Best Wishes DC
Does anyone have one of these ?
It's a clutch cable clip from a Mk1 Escort, and they are available for around £20 ! ! ! (Owch)
With my Scrooge hat on, I wonder of anyone may have one lying around in a box of bits ?
The body is now on, and thank you Bill, the seats will fit.
With thanks to Danny I now have a heater, which I have refurbed, and it's provisionally in place.
Next big job will be the floor
Are you sure that's the right rocker cover gasket?![]()
It'll be OK when it's cut down to size
That is the trouble with kit cars, they are very addictive!!
You're so right Dave !
Here's the engine after the head gasket was cut to size, and the early CAD for the wooden floor.
Making CAD small patterns. 'Yorkshire Tea' cardboard is very good. The boxes can be opened up very easily and the card is almost craft quality. The tea is excellent too! It's looking good.
