    Believe it or not I can hear the nearside headlamp rattling in it's shell over and above the V8!

    A slight bend of the adjustment tab on the slotted head bolt with some pliers stopped it.

    There should be a spring holding the light unit into the bowl which would normally eliminate any tendency to rattle? See link below.

    Thanks for that, struggling to see how the spring fits though!
